Adani Energy Wins Landmark ~Rs 4,700 Cr Grid Expansion Project

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. (AESL) has secured a major ~Rs 4,700 crore transmission project won through a competitive bidding process to evacuate renewable energy from Karnataka to load centers in Maharashtra. Operating under the SPV Satara Power Transmission Ltd. and scheduled for completion within 36 months, the initiative will support up to 4,500 MW of pumped storage potential across Satara, Pune, and the MMR. The project adds 562 ckm of transmission lines and 9,000 MVA of transformation capacity, reinforcing AESL's vital role in India's 2030 clean energy transition.
